Problem routing fake external calls internally

Dear all,

I have a project configuring a test phone room for a school.
For this matter, I installed the 3CX phone server and phones i'm using are LINKSYS SPA921.

I had no issue connecting the phones following this procedure:
http://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/linksys-spa-921/

All phones are dialing each others using their short extension numbers with no problems.

Now as they need this for the school, they asked me to configure fake SDAs and assign them to these phones.
I set these fake SDA inside the phone configuration (although i'm not sure I set them properly)

While I'm trying to dial SDAs I can see the server doesn't know how to route them (which make sense as I haven't defined this anywhere in the server...)

I tried many things to have this working but now I'm running out of ideas...
I wonder if there is a way to route these external calls "internally"
Any advices on this matter will be much appreciated

Ok found a solution for this,
as long as there is no need for real external calls, I've configured the fake SDA on phone extension, Other tab, SIP id
works like a charm !

As you've discovered, any number that 3CX receives must be a valid extension, SIP ID, or must match an outbound rule. The other work-around for sending, what appear to be "outside number" to a local extension, is through the use of a Loop trunk.

This was suggested for use with for DID trunks...
1. create SIP trunk with 127.0.0.1:5060
2. create outbound rule(s) for this trunk. They should intercept all DID numbers
3. attach existing inbound DID rules to this trunk

Which work well if it to intercept the occasional number, but not a lot of calls as it uses two call licences for every extension to extension call. The dial plan within the Cisco sets will also allow for digit manipulation, converting one dialled number, to another.
