Good morning,

I have a problem that I think is not common. We recently purchased a license for 3CX and started the installation.

What happens is that the digital certificate that I put apparently worked normally as it passed in the installation, so the license was assigned to the FQDN. However, when the installation was completed, I was unable to access the console through port 5001.
I accessed the logs and found that the NGINX service was not up in the air and looking into the background, I discovered that the reason for not starting the service is related to the digital certificate. My problem starts there.
After I finished the installation, I did not receive the email with the access code to the customer portal to open calls, so I can not:

1) Open a call to try to solve the problem
2) Unlink the license, as I do not have the portal access code
3) Proceed with the installation, as the nginx service does not go up

What I tried to do, as a palliative, was to create a new digital certificate using letsencrypt, but I could not do it.
I need to put this server in the air as soon as possible, so I need to create a new certificate and put 3cx to work, after that I get time to solve the portal costumer problem.

I tried to create the certificate following several tutorials on the internet, but I did not succeed. I confess that I do not understand practically anything of linux, so the difficulty.

Can anyone help me create this certificate and instruct me on what to do in connection with this licensing?

NOTE: It is not a problem in the installation. I have installed several times on different servers, virtual and physical machines with both windows and linux, it is no use trying to install, the problem is in the certificate.

Hello @EderPardeiro

Please have a look at the following guide that contains instructions on how to replace your custom certificate.
https://www.3cx.com/docs/self-hosted-instances-ssh/
I cannot however help you with creating a certificate for your FQDN. If you are not aware on how to create a certificate i would recommend re-installing the PBX and selecting a 3CX FQDN with a Let's Encrypt certificate.
You will need to release the licence from the FQDN to do so though so you must contact our costumer support so they can help you with the credentials not arriving.
