Provider supporting MMS in the UK

Good morning. Does anyone know if ANY of the available messaging providers on 3cx support MMS on a UK number?

So far, I have signed-up with Telnyx and tested SMS - great! But no MMS available. Just signed up with Twilio - haven't tested yet but again, cannot create a UK mobile number with MMS.

Anyone in the UK been able to do this?

You're correct, it was Alpha 5 that added:

Added MMS support for Telnyx, Twilio and Flowroute so that users can now send multimedia files by text message.

How strange, I was sure I'd seen people testing MMS on v18 beta? And regardless, of the SMS providers listed in "Add SMS", none support MMS for UK mobile numbers...

Hi @jcp,

You were correct, to avoid any future confusion let me say that: as of Alpha 5, MMS has been enabled on our side. Any limitations with regards to MMS messaging from specific numbers or to specific locations would be set by the providers themselves. To that end I suggest contacting your providers to ask for more information with regards to their future plans and how that will impact you.

Vas, I understand that the support for MMS in the UK is down to the provider... I only asked if anyone using 3CX in the UK have found any of the currently supported SMS/MMS providers support MMS on UK numbers. This information isn't available until you sign-up... Twilio, for example, says they have MMS - and they appear to have a UK presence (they have an office in Ireland) - but when you sign-up, there are no MMS UK numbers available.

I was just hoping another 3CX user had a better experience.

I understand what you mean @jcp. I will leave this thread open for others in the UK to comment on in hopes that you find the best solution for you going forward.
