Hi,
I apologize if the question is not strictly relevant. But I have a Snom D785 that perfectly receives provisioning, but I am forced to do so by entering one of the prefixes that determine one of the exit routes. So I would like to provisioning by saving the number in the address book without any prefix and when I choose the number, prefix the desired prefix to bind the trunk I want to use.

Excuse me for the question, but I can’t find a solution. There’s no indication in the manual. So maybe someone already had the same problem.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

It may be doable, but you would have to look at Snom's documentation on how their dial plans work.

There is no way of doing this via 3CX settings, and you might have to create custom templates to enforce this across your phones.

You would also have to test your dial plans to ensure they do not conflict with any 3CX functionality.

As an alternative, you can however do exit routes by extension group, or by number matching (if your destinations already have a city / country prefix) so you would not need to make changes to the dial plans.

Hello @JohnS_3CX ,
Sorry if i reply so late, but I've been traveling.
Thank you for your advice. I'll reevaluate the Snom documentation on dial plans. Alternatively, consider your great recommendations.
Although my need is to show an outgoing number rather than another regardless of the destination.

Thank you very much.

This is doable via outbound rules - you can define your specific caller ID (so long as the provider allows it)

Hi @JohnS_3CX,
The Italian providers, by law, do not allow to customize the Caller-Id different from the "native" one of the trunk. I want to type a prefix on my Snom keyboard and use a distinct Trunk. I can't understand how a phone like Snom won't let me. Once a number has been retrieved from the address book, there is no way to prefix the desired prefix to engage an outbound route on a trunk rather than with another trunk.

Thanks again, dear!
