Provisioning impossible Snom D717 contact XML file too large

Hello,

I have a provisioning problem on SNOM D717, I think the contact xml file is too heavy.

Is there a maximum size for this xml file?

If anyone has encountered the problem and been able to solve it.

Hi Matthieu,

The XML will contain all your company contacts and extensions even if you have 10,000.
That model has a directory of upto 1000 entries, and will stop loading after it reaches that limit.
Another model like the D862 can handle upto 10,000 so it will load the entire XML.

How many contacts does your 3CX system currently have though?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in my reply. After checking with my customer, his contact file contains 79,000 entries, but the 2 SNOM D717 phones can no longer provision. Apparently the phones don't stop loading after the 10000 entries have been passed.
