Hi All,
I have been tasked to look at somehow proxying the SIP registrations from the internet (primarely 3CX phone for Android (and blackberry) and 3cxphone for windows). Im talking about the server side proxy not the client side. This is so not to expose the 3CX server on the DMZ itself.
Our 3cx server is located on the internal network, and in order to allow remote (internet clients) to register there phone over the internet, our security department requires the registration to go through a Proxy server that would be located in the DMZ between the internet and the 3CX.
Is this possible ? if not, why and if so, what commercial plateform would support this?
I'am already looking into Acme Packet Session Boarder controllers that supposedely support Endpoint authentication (multiple options).
Thank you for any feedback.
