Hi Team,

I have a 3cx server hosted in windows machine and was using Dynamic IP, recently I got static public IP and I enabled the static IP under 3CX network settings. Unfortunately that public IP is not yet reflected to 3CX portal, still 3CX FQDN pointed to old dynamic IP only. Can you please help me to resolve the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers!

What license do you have - std , pro or ent

When did you make the change

Std , Pro license dns ttl settings are set to 6 hrs, so it can take this long for any changes to be done.

Ent license - dns ttl is 6 mins.

While you wait, what I recommend doing in the meantime is:

• Go to Settings >> Network.
• Confirm that the PBX is set with the correct Static IP.
• Go to Dashboard >> Services.
• Select the 3CX System Server and restart it.

Note: I recommend restarting it when no calls are occurring on the system as you may lose logs for those calls.

Hi Saqqara,

Thanks for your reply.

I changed the IP today morning around 4Hours back.

I am having 3CX enterprise license and my 3CX server is in UAE with DU ISP.

Cheers!

Can you access the 3cx management console remotely on the new ip address ?

Sounds odd, have you rebooted the router

If you've followed the steps in my previous reply, wait 5 minutes and then run a DNS lookup for your FQDN from Google's tool: https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/

Do you see the correct IP? If yes, it should be a matter of time for your remote sites to see the correct IP too.

To speed up the process you can:

• Configure your networks to use google's DNS (8.8.8.8)
• Reboot any firewall/routers that may be holding DNS cache
• Clear DNS cache on your PCs with: ipconfig /flushdns

Hi Chris & Saqqara,

I already go through all the suggestions but no luck.

Cheers!

Can you please PM me the first 8 characters of the License key along with what the correct IP of the PBX is so I can have a quick look?
