You can have your own firebase account yes but you need to understand whether you actually need it or not. Actually we do have a guide how to set this up

If you are new to this, use the stock 3CX Google Firebase account to get started.
Later on, if you want to see analytics or maybe performance monitoring, remote config etc, then you will need to make your own firebase account and configure it on 3CX. Reprovision all the phones and everything will work as before with the addition, that you will now be able to log in to your Google Firebase portal and have the admin console at your disposal.

Look 3CX offers it's own Firebase solution to deliver a fully working system so the admin does not need to configure and create.
However, it is also good to have your own because of course it gives you more control and unlocks features that you as an admin can see - like analytics etc. For example if you use 3CX Firebase account, you can never see analytics for your subscriptions just to mention one little example. But if you use your own, you will be able to login to the Firebase portal, explore your projects and see the usage of your users..

This is one of the biggest advantages of using your own Firebase account - at the little cost of a couple of clicks on Firebase and on your Management console and a full reprovision of all your apps.
