Question RE Codecs

• Server OS, Linux 3CX ISO Virtualised
• Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? No
• IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware - Yealink T46G 28.83.0.130
• Provisioning Method: LOCAL
• Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model: Voiceflex
• Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
• Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

Hi All,

Just a question in relation to codecs.

My 3CX Settings are set to use the following:

Local

G722
PCMU
PCMA

External

G722
PCMU
PCMA

My extensions have their codecs as:

PCMU
PCMA
G722

Note: I rearranged my codecs from the settings page and havent restarted anything nor have I configured any extensions codecs.

Do EXT settings codec pull order from this page or are they there own thing? Which takes presedence?

On an unrelated note, my reprovision button is greyed out for the T46G but works for the T23G - anyone know why? Cant even phone UI or reboot.
