Hi all,
Bit of a weird query, so bear with me.
If we set up a new SIP trunk connection on our 3CX environment, can we do the below steps in the order they're written? ---
1: New SIP Trunk is connected and configured, all testing is fine so we can make outgoing calls.
2: We arrange with SIP Trunk provider to port over 100+ DDIs from our previous PSTN/ISDN provider.
3: Whilst that's being arranged and a porting date is agreed between the two, we add the known 100+ 'upcoming' DDIs to the newly configured SIP Trunk within the 3CX Options.
4: We then attach those DDI numbers to any existing 3CX extensions or desk phones as required.
5: On the day those DDIs are ported over and added to our new SIP trunk, the config we had done in advance on 3CX automatically takes affect without any further set up. (So the now 'Live' DDIs route though to the correct extensions and phones, even though I'd done the config for it a week in advance)
If that does work it'll make our full rollout a lot easier and could allow us to prep a lot in advance. If it doesn't, then those DDI porting dates are going to be really busy/stressful. :/
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks
