Hi Everyone,
I have a question about branch line!

In my company, everyone work in home and all have 3CX app in your phones.
But, i think the branch line, it is using my SIP Server for communication between branch line.
Have any parameters in console web for this is happing?
Thats my question!
Tks,

Hello Erick!

Unfortunately I don't think I quite understood what you said. Could you explain again what the problem is? also what do you mean with "branch line"?

Hello, NickD
Sorry, my english is very bad!

Please, when i say "branch line" i say extensions.
The extensions use SIP Trunk for communications?

I don't see how this is possible.
Let's say you have 2 extensions, 100 and 200. If ext 100 dials "200", then the PBX first looks if there is another extension with that number, and if not, then it will check the Outbound Rules and route the call through a SIP Trunk if it matches a rule.

Does the extension number you are dialing exist on the same PBX? Why do you suspect that the SIP Trunk is being used when you call from one extension to another?

Yes, exist.

I pay very dearly in my SIP Server(Provider).

What you are describing is not normal, and due to the cost involved I think it would be best to contact a 3CX Partner to help you figure this out.

If you really want to check yourself, I would start by enabling Verbose logging from Dashboard --> Activity Log --> Settings.
Then replicate the issue and use the Activity Log to try and track why this is happening.

If you look at "active calls" from the mgmt console and do your test, you will see if calls are going over your trunk in real-time

The Verbose Logging is enable. In the Activity Log appears many this events:
Call to <sip:[email protected]:0> has failed; Cause: 487 Request Terminated/INVITE from 127.0.0.1:5483
Call to <sip:[email protected]:0> has failed; Cause: 487 Request Terminated/INVITE from 127.0.0.1:5483
You know whats this?

Hi kieferschild,

I made it!
See the print(image)!
10001 Advance-7319 is my SIP trunk.
I think the communications between extensions pass by SIP trunk.
Have as change this?

Check the forwarding rules for that extension, it looks like it's forwarding to wherever.

...or you have "Ring my mobile simultaneously" option enabled.

Had some extensions with this enabled. Mine was one of them. Have 60 extensions, at most 6 were enabled. I disabled. But, i think, have other thing.
The forwarding rules are for extensions.

Perform your test again with that option unchecked and check it isnt going over your SIP trunk
