Questions Regarding Mobile Client

I recently evaluated a newer version of the 3CX Android client and have three questions:

1.) The version of the mobile client we use in production is 16.3.0.81 (Android). The updated version did not produce a full screen alert when signaling an incoming call and would only provide a visual indication if the notifications were enabled for the 3CX app. On 16.3.0.81, even if notifications are disabled for the 3CX app, an incoming call results in a full screen indication with answer / end buttons which is preferred from our side. Is this behavior of the new version not show a full screen visual alert and only showing incoming call notifications if the 3CX app notifications are turned on by design or possibly the result of something environmental on our side? If the latter, we can investigate further from our end.

2.) The attachment shows a few apps that produce a movable overlays when on a call (circled). Is it possible to configure the 3CX android to produce such such an overlay when on a 3CX call?

3.) When a cell call is active, 3CX appears not to show an indication of an incoming call. Is it possible to configure the 3CX app to ring or produce a visual indication of an incoming call when a cell call is in progress?

No, not at the moment.

The default behavior is that while on a GSM, if a 3CX call arrives, it will send the incoming call to VMail.

Thank you for the quick response and the screenshots! This is very helpful info. Quick follow up question for item 1:

- Is it possible to configure the new version to have the behavior of the previous where it will always show the full screen notification even if not on the lock screen and is it possible, like the previous version, to have the full screen notification show even if the rest of the notifications for the app are turned off?

Hi Matthew, unfortunately not, we are following the guidelines provided by Google on these things to make it work as best as possible.

I seem to recall even other applications that use to have a similar ringing screen in the past, have started switching to this "new style" of notification.
