Hello,
Is there a way i can upload downloaded recordings back to the 3CX PBX? If yes, how?

The pbx is a 8SC Professional edition

If you put the recording back in the correct folder, 3CX will add it back to the system again, however, the date/time associated with the recording will be the date/time that the file was uploaded, not the original date/time.

You can, using sftp as root, upload the the folder /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Recordings/ unless you changed location
Next SSH as root

cd /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Recordings

Next change Owner of the recordings

chown -R phonesystem:phonesystem

I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Recording Manager tool which will enable you to manage/play recordings on an external drive.
