Registration Expires

Hi,

I use the latest free edition and I have a question about the registration of extensions. After 3CX system restart the extensions need a lot of time to became available again. Is there any way to force register the extensions? If not, why is the better value for the "Registration Expires" variable of extensions?

When you re-start 3CX all of the SIP devices attached believe that they are still registered. Since the restart, 3Cx has no idea what devices are attached, and will show them as unregistered until their registration time expires and they register again. You can force the devices to register immediately by powering them down and back up again. Registration time can be datafilled by the user in each device, usually 30 to 60 minutes, but many times your setting is "overruled" by the SIP server, 3CX in this case, unless lower than the server default. Since 3CX shouldn't be going down that often, if it does then you have a power problem and should invest in a UPS, 30 minutes should work just fine.
