Regularly importing contacts into personal contacts list - avoiding duplicating everything?

Hi all,

I'm testing 3CX SMB Free Cloud for the small electrical company (having worked for a 3CX Gold Partner in my previous job so quite familiar with it up to V18).

One snag I've hit is that I'm trying to import a CSV of our regular customers so we get Caller ID Name matching. I understand I can't use a global address list in free edition and that's fine, and that users will need to upload the CSV individually, which is also fine, as there's only three of us to start with.

The initial CSV upload is fine, but any attempt to upload an updated list duplicates everything.

Is there a way to:

• bulk-delete contacts before re-importing (preferred), or
• avoid creating duplicates based on name or phone number, or
• some other solution to this issue?

Well do I feel stupid... it was right in front of me the whole time.

I didn't think to hover over the trash icon. I assumed it was a singular delete, turns out it's 'delete all contacts', exactly what I want!
