Hi,

I believe that most parameters from prov file are not necessary. Will admin receive mail of new SBC which someone might add because tunnel password is also visible?
Solution would be to add some token like one we receive in e-mail to trial cloud instance for 48 hours.

Even that token can be encrypted like any passwords from backup configs of most CPE modems.
Code:
<Password>_encrypted_*****************************</Password>
Softphone will receive rest of parameters only in case of correct token.

This would allow new option to provision softphone only if token is correct within 7 day window.

Hi Thelev, thanks for you feedback!

Please feel free to post this kind of ideas or feature request on this link https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas.57/

So people can discuss and vote for them.

Best regards!

Thanks. I think that idea is almost ready. Server should deliver config parameters which are different from default. For example, client can use/know about default STUN servers without specifying in config(first server can use PBXPublicAddr).

I didn't notice that Elastix has an Idea board. Thanks, AJP.
