Removing "+" in Caller ID

In both inbound and outbound calls the caller iD has the "+". I am trying to remove that.

I have read the following like and searched through the forum. I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove this.

I thought adding should work.

Source = +
Replace = /1

That's what you're looking for. Adjust the pattern if you want to remove + or +1.

Are you sending the + on outbound calls (check the Activity Log), or is this being added by your provider, or perhaps by the provider at the far end.

I had tried this too and still get the "+". Thank you for the suggestion.

Ok - I think this is solved.

The outbound caller ID appeard to be incorrect. Newbie issue.
