Hello;

I would like to renew the ssl cert on my 3CX on Debian, I know that the cert and the key file is deployed here at folder /var/lib/3cxpbx/Bin/nginx/conf/Instance1

there are two files 3cxserver.company.com-crt.pem and 3cxserver.company.com-key.pem

I have to uploaded two new files with the same file name and extension to the same folder, correct?

Do I need to restart or to reboot the 3CX host?

Can I just restart the 3CX services for the new cert take effective immediately without rebooting the server? If I can, how?

Many thanks!

When following the guide, do note that you might need to use sudo when running the commands to change the file ownership to phonesystem. Also, once done, confirm that the phonesystem user has read and write permissions on both files.

You're very welcome!

Do let us know how it goes!

The procedure is very easy to follow, only take 5 minutes to complete the change, and it works perfect.

Glad to see you got this resolved!

Please feel free to start a new thread should you need anything else!
