Hello, something strange started happening this past week. On Monday at around 7pm PST, I started receiving repeated failed call back alerts for the same phone number. This has been ongoing since then, and I receive about 5 emails every 3 hours for the same event. According to my Outlook Client, the emails all have a time stamp as being sent between 7pm and 7:16pm on Monday the 5th , but every new batch of emails I receive it appears that time stamp increments by 1 minute. So I am wondering if there are a bunch of emails queued up on the 3cx server. Anyways does anyone know how to stop or fix this? I purposely left out the last for digits of the phone number and supplemented #### below. I verified that the system is not actually attempting to call that number for every email that has been sent. Our system is running on a cloud hosted Debian server with the latest version 16.0.910 , Professional version.

Hi @salmartinez

Have you tried restarting the PBX in case something is cached and repeated? Also are you using the 3CX SMTP server or your own?

Yiannish, we are using the 3cx SMTP server. I have not tried rebooting the server. Would this be done using the terminal window within the 3cx admin dashboard? Would there be another easier way of clearing the cache of emails in use by the SMTP server rather than rebooting the entire 3cx system?

I would start by restarting the services of the system. It is the most simple procedure you can do. You can do so by navigating to Dashboard / Services and after you select them press restart.

just an update, I was going to restart the services but sometime during the day on Friday, the email alerts stopped. It appears that whatever was cached for delivery completed.

Good to hear. Let us know if you face any more issues.
