Solved replace license key

I'm with a problem, I'm using the self-hosted version of 3CX, an ENT license, I really need to replace my license key, but my 3CX is only showing the "update license key information" option and the replace option isn't showing up
I'm using the V18

If really self hosted and not SMB (v18 says it): backup without license key and fqdn, reset the 3CX, release the key from the fqdn in the 3CX portal, run 3CX install wizard, restore backup, use new key - maybe a solution?

Yes, I thought about it too, but unfortenely my client can't really stop the operation, so I'm fishing for other possibilities, but thank you tho!!

That option is not there if it is 3CX hosted, or if you are using the 3CX fail-over setup.

If you are using the fail-over setup, you have to disable fail-over, change the key and then re-build the backup instance.

Its preferred to just upgrade the existing key than having to go through those steps, especially since building a new back instance will take over the FQDN temporarily while you get it setup.

Yes it will show the replace license option as soon as you disable the fail-over option.

However if you actually do have a fail-over instance you have to delete and re-create it after. You can't do a replace license on the fail-over instance.
