Replacing cell phones with 3cx

Has anyone done any replacement of their cell phones with using the 3cx client on the either the IOS or Android platforms? I'm considering have our sales people only give out their DID instead of their cell phone number but that would mean that they would be "data only" from Verizon. I'm not sure that Verizon's nationwide coverage is good enough to give us reliable connections but I was hoping that someone in this community might have tried it (even if it's a different provider) and might have some feedback. I'm double posting this in both the IOS and Android forums so I hope that doesn't violate any rules.
