Reports and Recordings same permission

We are facing an obstacle where some users only need access to reports and not recordings, but they are controlled by the same permission. Is this going to be changed? We can't be the first to encounter the problem, and it's quite problematic for our client. I know I can set up automated reports to be sent to these users specifically, but it's not ideal for running something on an as-needed basis.

I cannot speak about 3CX future plans, but I can offer an alternative for you. Rather than have people log into the 3CX console to interact with Recordings, I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Recording Manager tool.

In addition to all the new AI features we have added (including "Ask AI Anything", and automatic agent scoring -- and human scoring), we also provide granular access control for recordings. Now you do not need to worry about 3CX console permissions because they do not need access to the console at all.




As you can see, we make it very easy to manage recordings, and what a person can do with those recordings.
