hi,
I am trying to find out what is behind ABN calls, i found a report ( Call reports ) and it is a good start but i have a question
what are below words mean:
- in the reason column ( Failed - Terminated by incoming call - Forwarded to VMail (user) - terminated by VM (user) - picked up by Vmail (user) - Q Call Center (ext) replaced by VMail (user)
Failed Canceled - Server error - Target not found. )

- another question:
can I block incoming calls to users outside the office ?
thanks a lot

Hi @montaser,

Some of the answers may be self explanatory.
- in the reason column ( Failed - Terminated by incoming call - Forwarded to VMail (user) - terminated by VM (user) - picked up by Vmail (user) - Q Call Center (ext) replaced by VMail (user)
Failed Canceled - Server error - Target not found. )
  • Terminated by incoming call - Inbound Rule is set to end the call.
  • Forwarded to Vmail - the call was forwarded to the Voicemail of the user, this can set by rules.
  • Terminated by VM - the call was terminated by Voicemail after pressing # and saving the message.
  • Q Call Center (ext) replaced by Vmail (user) -
  • Failed Cancelled - the caller hangs up before it can be answered.
  • Server Error - The PBX was unable to contact the external number (one possibility)
  • Target not found - The destination was not found on the system.
- another question:
can I block incoming calls to users outside the office ?
Can you define this a little clearer, do you mean remote users or do you mean users that are working from home on any specific day?

we have agents, they receive calls during working hours at the office, when they finish their work and go home, they still receive calls, can i block them from receiving calls outside the office ?

Hi @montaser,

Why not use office hours that you can configure in Settings >> Timezone, Office Hours & Holidays?

Hi @montaser,

Why not use office hours that you can configure in Settings >> Timezone, Office Hours & Holidays?
because we are working 24/7, that's why am asking is there a way to do so

Hi @montaser,

I assume the shifts rotate so setting the out of office hours per extension isn't an option?

Hello again @montaser,

There are a couple ways to do this. The simplest way would be to train your staff to change their status to DND before they leave the office. This way they're no longer polled. It takes a few seconds to change and is very simple to do.

Otherwise you could disable PUSH on the extensions, and when the user logs out they'll go unregistered. This way though, they cannot make use of the mobile extension.

that's a great answer and helped a lot, while waiting i explored the extensions and found an option ( disallow use of extension ..... ), is it related to what i am asking for ?
sorry for keep asking

Hi again @montaser,

The option "Disallow use of extension outside the LAN" only refers to phones which register via SIP directly to the public IP of the PBX. It won't stop the extensions using the Web Client / Apps.
