We just upgraded to V18! All we have to say is... Can 3CX please seal a version of the PBX and leave it for long term support? Can 3CX please share a roadmap of 'what to expect' for the next few years? When we purchased our perpetual enterprise license for v12, we never envisioned being so beholden to updates, maintenance agreements and evolving licensing terms. Requiring a maintenance license for continual use of a self hosted perpetually licensed enterprise product, does not properly mesh with the general idea of a perpetual license. The phasing out of the Windows Client, previous experiences related to PBX feature changes, and the fact that shared parking still does not work properly on mobile devices, give us concern that something major could change and have adverse effects on our business operations, budget or IT infrastructure. We are prepared to take preventative measures to prevent unwanted and unscheduled disruptions to business. What is 3CX doing to stabilize the software, and reduce the administrative load? Does LTS fit with 3CX's vision or should we expect regular updates and changes? To date, we have been through 32 updates with 3CX.

I've been working with 3CX since version 6. 3CX has been very consistent in all these years regarding how they handle new releases, and the requirements that imposes. You can expect more of the same.

I have always said one of the things I love most about 3CX is the ever-changing feature set. And one of the things I hate most about 3CX is the ever-changing feature set :)

If you are adverse to change, 3CX is perhaps not the right product for you. 3CX is always and constantly improving the PBX. That does require regular updates, bug fixes, security enhancements, improved compatibility with new hardware, and new features. That's part of the deal when you choose 3CX.
