resize or shrink the left column with the webcams

Can I resize or shrink the left column with the webcams?
They take up to much space on laptops that have 720p displays.

The right column has a little blue arrow to shrink it.
Why not have that on the left column?

Also, would be nice to change the height of the Meeting Chat box in relation to the Attendees box.
