Hi there guys,

I read in some forums to enable beta repositories to upgrade the a2billing,

I need to be sure because I can't lost all my data and stop giving service to my customers.

Is it true? Or I need to upgrade a2b by hand?

Thanks

Re:Update a2billing on Elastix 2.0

Hi guys,

I couldnt wait so I risked myself !

I activated the BETA Repositories from the Elastix Repo File (etc/yumd.repo/elastix.repo)

Then next I only upgrade the a2billing:

yum update elastix-a2billing

I said yes to all dependencies and install it automatically.

Now it works, the only difference is that now you have to modify the a2billing.conf in the admin panel, not in /etc/asterisk.

good luck!

hello,

As i see from your post you have custmers and so, so i hope you can give me some tips because i have the same situation:
A2Billing 1.3 and Elastix 2 run very good.
First: your Update method in Steps.
Second: do you connect with provider throug IP Configuration in your trunks in the A2Billing to work as self as provider? if yes i hope you can tell me how?

Thanks in advance

Re: Re:(Resolved) Update a2billing on Elastix 2.0

Hi there,

I explained the procedure on the past post (Activate Elastix BETA Repositories on yum and then install a2billing again)

The second question I don-t understand.

Best wishes

Gave this a whirl on 2.0.2, it killed elastix php. I was able to get into freepbx but elastix was dead.

You can get to the elastix login but once you put in your login details the page just goes blank.

Didnt full test everything but seemed like a2billing updated ok and it had the extra stuff i wanted (like customer notes etc).

Might give it another run as i rolled it back, see how i go.

I have the same issue. Any way to safely update a2billing?

Edit: Issue resolved.

Thanks!
