Hi everyone,

I'm the administrator of a 3CX system, and I'm struggling to find a way to restrict the use of the mobile app for certain users.

I need to:
  • Identify which device type (WebApp, Desktop, Mobile, Mobile 2, etc.) each user is connected with.
  • Restrict specific users from using the mobile app.
Our company policy does not allow users to install 3CX on their personal mobile devices, but some are doing it anyway. How can I control and prevent this?

I couldn't find any option in the interface, maybe there's a way through command line?
How can I view all active connections?

If this isn't possible yet, I can't be the only one who thinks this is a must-have feature.

Thanks for your help!

You can enable the "Block remote non-tunnel connections" option. This will prevent them from making calls from their mobile devices, but they will still be able to use the chat feature.

Actually that option blocks connections that do NOT come in through the channel. So an external devices provisioned with STUN.

This is enabled by default to prevent non-secure methods of connection.
