1) Is it possible to have a prompt message after a Ring Group is chosen and before is transferred to a user at the same time? For example when calling to Digital Receptionist "Welcome to XYZ Solutions. Please select from the following options. Dial 1 for Tech Support" After Tech Support (Ring Group) is selected, a prompt message would be displayed "This call may be recorded" and it transfers the call to the user.

2) Is it possible to have a Digital Receptionist taking note of the opening hours and to have two different prompt messages? For example during opening hours "Welcome to XYZ Solutions..." and during closing hours "Currently we are closed..."

I appreciate for your genuine support

Thanks,

Number 1. Forward the call to another ivr with the correct message, and set ‘ Destination for invalid or no DTMF input/script timeout’ to 1 and have this go the the ring group.

Number 2.

Create a dummy extension for office closed, and forward using ‘ if my extensions is busy or unregistered (there are two setting - internal and external calls) to the required destination. I.e. voicemail, (then email the voicemail if required)

Setup your office hrs in 3cx https://duckduckgo.com/?q=3cx+office+hrs&t=ipad&ia=places

https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/inbound-did-call-routing/

Under the sip trunk, route incoming office hours to the correct ring group / extension , out of office hrs to the dummy extension.

1) Thanks Work perfectly

2) Is this only possible if I have SIP Trunks available to use? As currently I am working everything internally.

I was able to find the time zone settings and set it according the working hours. However I am still not able to link the internal calls to the timing.

Currently I have two IVRs one for the Welcome message and the other for the closing hours.

Is there a way to do this for internal calls?

Yes, the office hours only apply to Inbound Rules, and to have Inbound Rules you need a SIP Trunk.

Generally though, for the IVR is you want just 2 messages, "Welcome to XYZ Solutions..." and "Currently we are closed...", the create 2 Digital Receptionists as Saqqara suggested, then in the Inbound Rule set the "In offece hours" to route to the first, and the "Out of office hours" rule to the other.

I don't see the need for an intermediate extension if the opening/closing hours are fixed.

I was able to do it by creating extension rules on a dummy extension number that when offices are opened the call is forwarded to the Welcome IVF and when the offices are closed it is forwarded to the Closed offices IVF.
