Existing customers and partners:
Go to ‘Systems’ page in the Customer Portal
Click ‘Add Systems’ button in the top right corner
From here you will be asked to choose your 3CX edition, choose:
Hosted > Up to 10 users
Complete the steps to add users and talk links.

I have no "Add Systems" button. I have "Buy New" and "Add Customer" buttons.
"Buy New" just offered dedicated license options. So I decided to add a customer.
Got started on that, with the usual bogus info so that 3cx won't contact them, and realized it was just going to do the basic Free version instead of the Pro trial good through October.
So I closed the window, and tried to sign up for the StartUp Pro trial.
Well, it now says the account already exists, but password resets do not result in an email.
Noticed the new customer account was listed under my Systems page now. So I set it up from there. It's working, made a couple test calls, all that.

Sooo, how do I get the 3cx.com account "fixed" so that the password can be reset?
Can I somehow switch it to Pro demo? Delete and start over maybe?
If they don't decide to proceed with Pro at the end of the trial, will it downgrade to free?

Also, will a SBC be required to use SIP phones?
Will the Pro version allow custom call queue / hold music?

And happens I just sold a 4SC Pro license. Literally set the thing up yesterday. Is it possible to convert a dedicated license to a StartUp license?

Hi @ThatVendor,

the guide you followed is for end-users, your account status is however Affiliate. For Affiliates and 3CX Partners, the option is called "Add Customer". Once you create a new customer it will prompt you to select the edition (3CX StartUP or 3CX System) and proceed with the installation. You have the option of "Free Upgrade" once the subscription is generated from the System detail page. A free upgrade option for 3CX StartUP is coming soon. Currently, we do not make any differences between the 3CX StartUP Free and the StartUP PRO.

3CX System subscriptions and 3CX StartUP subscriptions are not interchangeable and describe different products.

Is that there is no Pro right now? I understood from the blog post that Pro had IVR, Call Queue, SMS, etc. I was hoping to get more into the details.

And as of right now password resetting on the email used to create the StartUP isn't sending a reset link. The sign in to the instance itself works. It's the customer portal login that doesn't.

If the differences described in the blog are live, would it be simplest to just delete the instance and the account and start over? Can I connect them to my partner account if I follow the New Customer setup? If so, how do I proceed?

@ThatVendor PM me with the email that has the issue and I will check it out for you.

For anyone that might come across this later, 3cx had gotten a bounce message from Microsoft as the new email account hadn't fully finished setting up yet.

And once 3cx gets a bounce message they will not send emails to that address.

@ThatVendor please note that if the email is not proper setup on your mail server and pbx sends the email then yes this will be bounced as your mail server replies back that this mail doesn’t exist.
Then as you can understand we have to remove it manually as I did a few days ago based on our private conversation :)
