I'm trying to price up a m5ad.large VM and get prices from anywhere from $75 to $144. I like Linode, simple pricing $40 for 4GB 4vCPU 160GB is $40 or 50% more for dedicated CPU

Roughly what should the base cost for m5ad.large VM be, ignoring traffic?

Why does the m5adlarge only have 2vCPU when the recommended hardware is 4-6 CPU?

From 3CX recommended hardware page.

From AWS page it shows there is only 2 vCPU

With 50 Extensions, the amount of usage and resources needed can very quite a bit.

For a system that the usage is fairly low, like 30-40 calls per day where users only use 1 type of client (not each user have 1x Mobile app, 1x WebClient and 1x IP Phone), then you could probably get away with 2vCPUs.

If you will be using your 3CX more than this, I would suggest following the hardware recommendations listed above.

Don't forget though, this are VMs meaning you can always start "low", then if you see you need more resources, move to a bigger machine.

As we do not support Linode, I strongly recommend not deploying your instances there.

How is your connectivity to Singapore? We fully support Digital Ocean which operates a Datacenter there.
