Router and port issues...

Hi,

ok we current have a PBX which is rubbish so I found this software installed it and looks really good. There are just a couple of issues that someboday maybe able to help with.

1) We want to use remote workers I tried settting somone up with a SKY home router without sucess even with ports forwarded. I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. I installed Skypee on their system worked with no issues. Can I simply change from using port 5060 to 80 like skypee?

2) Is there an option to listern in to live calls?

Basically for remote uses we want to give them software like xlite or somthing and its basically plug and play the whole port forwarding issue is going to put users off who dont have much knowledge.

Have you tried the 3CX softphone using the tunnel option? The 3CX site has all the info you need for setting that up. The tunnel overcomes many far end router issues. I've used it with success when all other methods have failed.

I know that the tunnel is probably the best optino but is it ok to use port 80?
