Solved Router Phone not registering

I am trying to get a router phone configured for a remote user. I've gone through all the steps and the phone will not come online and I can't figure out why. Any ideas?



After we type in the username (ext) and password it goes to this screen.

Hello,

I noticed your screenshot showing


Switch this to 123 before you type the username.

And check again when entering the password because it might change back to 2aB

PS: I hope you have already upgraded the firmware as per our guide, and then factory reset your phone. If not, now would be a good time.

The firmware was updated and we got the phone to work in our main office. We then changed the SBC to the one at the remote office and sent the phone to that site. However, the SBC was having issues connecting. So I figured I could remove the phone and try to add it as a router phone and nothing has worked. If the key type button (2ab) was set and the password was entered in wrong. Wouldn't the phone tell you the password is wrong?

Mmm not sure about whether it shows a prompt or not - it just asks for the credentials again without any error messages.

Can you kindly confirm what version firmware the phone is currently running? We need to be 100% sure on this one before moving on to the next step.

It was the key type selection like you mentioned. Made sure it was on numeric and it worked.
