We have a few DIDs that are directed to specific destinations during office hours and outside of them. Office hours are defined as 8AM system time, however, we need to be able to receive calls from a few other area codes in another time zone at 8AM their time, which is 7AM CST system time.
What is the best way to address this? I'm aware that 3CX can only operate in one time zone (whatever is set at the system level), so I was thinking of other options since we really only need to receive phone calls at 7AM system time from one other state which doesn't warrant standing up an entirely new PBX.
I attempted to create a CID rule under inbound routes, which works fine if I'm defining a full inbound caller ID number, but it doesn't appear to work using variables. IE: for 214 area codes, using the Caller ID rule of +1214XXXXXXX doesn't work.
Any ideas on how to address this? Thanks!
