Hello! I have a couple of questions regarding our Salesforce integration with 3CX.
First, I see that 3CX has no way of encrypting passwords, meaning that whoever has access to the admin console can just click the unhide button on the SF password and get full credentials of Salesforce. Is there a way to change that or any future plans?
The second question has to do with Salesforce minimum user permissions required for 3CX to integrate properly. Can you let me know what are the least permissions required for the API user in order to run the full integration?

Thank you!

Hello @George_3CX,

In Update 7 released today as alpha, there is a new version of the template, which is listed as SalesforceV2. With this version, you can use the full OAuth2 flow, which doesn't need that we store your credentials in 3CX. You need to grant access to 3CX, logging in your Salesforce account, and 3CX receives a token to use from that point onwards.

The second question has to do with Salesforce minimum user permissions required for 3CX to integrate properly. Can you let me know what are the least permissions required for the API user in order to run the full integration?
3CX needs to be able to query Contacts, Leads, Accounts, and System Users.
3CX needs to be able to create Tasks (Call Journaling), Leads and Contacts.
