I have read its not possible to integrate 3CX with Salesforce when person account is active on Salesforce.
Are there now any other solution to integrate with Salesforce and person accounts?

Hello @brent.stappaerts@forward.,

Unfortunately that scenario is still not supported.

You would need to edit the Salesforce template to achieve this, and make the necessary changes to invoke the appropriate APIs for that case...

Kind regards.

Hello @edossantos,

Thanks for the quick response.
Can I find somewhere any info for this ?

You would need to use the CRM tool to edit the template. Also, this page explains the details of the XML in case you prefer editing it using a text editor, or need to understand any other details.

The procedure would be:
1) Go to the 3CX Console > Settings > CRM Integration > SalesforceV2 > Show Template.
2) Copy the XML and save it to a local file.
3) Open the file with the CRM tool and change the Name attribute to SalesforceCustom or something like that (if you use the same name, an update from 3CX will override your changes).
4) This is the complex part: you will need to research the Salesforce REST API to understand what you need to change, and make the changes to the template to achieve what you need.
5) Once you're done with your changes, you can upload your custom template from the 3CX Console > Settings > CRM Integration > Add button.

Kind regards.

Hi Ernesto,
Just so I'm clear.

3cx can be integrated but we need to create the template ourselves to make it work?

@brent.stappaerts@forward. Are you interested in going halvzees on the framework for this?

Yes, this is correct. Actually, you don't need to create a new template from scratch, the existing template will be a good starting point, as you already have the authentication part implemented. You would just need to edit the contact lookup and contact creation scenarios. The Call Journaling will probably work, because the same activity can be attached to different entities (we're using it for contacts, leads and accounts at the moment).
