Hi,
i have a question for clarification by3CX and CRM Integration Salesforce.
If I used the server side integration we have not all client integration (example open popup in salesforce for inbound call?). List functionalities missing?
If i used the client side integration, i understand the client plugin is not supported from v16 3cx, but the api is available, it's correct?

Thanks!
Regards

Hello,

With the latest v16 (currently in alpha 2 stage), we have completed the missing features in the server side integration. So you should use the server side approach, which will be fully functional as soon as we make the final release. Please wait a few weeks until the release is complete.

Kind regards.

Thanks,
but the server side approach, redirect the inbound call in salesforce softphone, Or are there an appexchange, without open cti this is feasible?

For outbound call i use the extension clickToCall.

Kind Regards.

The server side integration doesn't use Open CTI. You need to use the 3CX Web Client in order to see the contact name and record.

Is there a way we could use open cti with 3CX ?

Not at the moment. That requires that we provide a REST API, and that's not available yet. We're working on it, and we have plans to create an integration with Salesforce using OpenCTI in the near future, after we have the REST API available...

Thanks for your answer. Without waiting for the REST API, Is there a way we could use a "3CX javascript lib" inside our own open CTI implementation for inbound/outbound calls ? without requiring neither 3CX web client nor 3CX desktop client ?
Something like your own sip.js ?

No, that doesn't exist.
