Save Recordings on Different server

Yes, you can save it on different server. There are at least 2 ways to do it:
1. Mount your server resource (smb, nfs) as /mnt/rec and make symlink /var/spool/asterisk/monitor pointing to your mounting point.
2. You can simply mount your server resource to /var/log/asterisk/monitor.
Make sure user asterisk have write permissions on that resource.

Alternatively, you can make a simple script to copy all recordings to different server, using 'cp' command or 'ftp' command if you want to copy it on ftp server. Script can be executed by cron daemon.

Which way do you prefer?

Another idea is saving your call recordings in default path and rsync to other Linux/Unix box.
