Good morning!

I have a client that is trying to access saved voicemails via the TUI. When dialing in to voicemail it says there are two saved messages and you can listen to the first message but pressing 0 to go to the next message just treats it as an invalid option and repeats the post message options.

When I look in the webclient I see two voicemails there but one of them will not play from the web page (the same one that won't play in the TUI) and cannot be downloaded saying file not found. So I connected to the shell and looked at the actual voicemail directory and I was able to see both messages in the folder with their associated XML file. Is this file likely just corrupted and needs to be manually removed? I have 2 other extensions experiencing the same issue.

Also of note, when checking the folder for the voicemail files I saw about 18 other wave files that don't show up in the web client and aren't listed when you dial in via the TUI. I believe these aren't showing up because there is no associated .xml file. Would those files being missing prevent the voicemails from being listed?

Never mind I think I figured it out. The file that was showing as not found ONLY had an xml file, no associated .wav. I just deleted the orphaned xml file and this cleared out the uncheckable voicemail.

I am a little concerned that this user had about 20 wav files without xml files in the directory. Any ideas on what might cause this? I moved them out of the folder via FTP for archiving in case they are needed but am curious as to what would cause only half of the voicemail files to be deleted
