We are trying to figure out the best way to setup an SBC behind a firewall that has failover configured for multiple ISP's. What we see happening is that if the primary circuit for the customer goes down the SBC takes several minutes if ever to reconnect. In that case all phones are down but the internet is up and actually is only down for about 30 seconds as the secondary goes active.
Has anyone else ran into or solved this issue?

So, PCs have internet and all but the SBC doesn't seem to switch WAN? Odd. Probably a bug with the public IP being different, if it is.

How does the failover work? Multiple WAN from different modems/fiber?

That is what happens. The SBC is now coming from a different IP address and it takes the SBC and the PBX too long to figure it out. We set the firewall (Sonicwall) to fail over after 30 seconds of the primary being down.
