i have 2 SBCs and extensions hangin off these SBCs keep falling off the network and the phones that i have provisioned with these extensions keep showing up as "New" again without the extension assigned to them as per pic below. Happening on daily basis after a few hours.

Windows PCs running these SBC services are still working. Latest Debian 3CX

Ideas?

Seen that happen when phone had incorrect firmware installed.
Accidentally put a G-firmware on a S-phone.
Login to the phone directly and manually install the correct firmware.

Try completely removing the extensions and running the firewall test,
then re-create them.

Pull up sleeves and tackle Wireshark =hj

Check the logs on your SBC, look for patterns and rule out issue with the SBC, that isnt powercycling itself or changing its IP address.

FYI checking the logs on the SBC is as follows:

If you login to the SBC on the command line first check the 3CX SBC is up and running with: "service 3cxsbc status".

The logs can be set in the 3cxsbc.conf which can be found if you navigate to: C:\ProgramData\3CXSBC\3cxsbc.conf

Change the DEBUG to VERBOSE then run the below commands:

1) Edit file /etc/3cxsbc.config and uncomment the # File section.
2) Stop the 3cxsbc service (service 3cxsbc stop)
3) Stop the rsyslog service (service rsyslog stop)
4) Delete file ls -l /var/log/ (rm /var/log/3cxsbc.log)
5) Recreate /var/log/3cxsbc.log (touch /var/log/3cxsbc.log)
6) Start the rsyslog service (service rsyslog start)
7) Start the 3cxsbc service (service 3cxsbc start

You can tail -f the logs so that it saves to a txt file - your SD card should be fine to support this.

Thanks i will check this logging out. the 3CX SBC doco is very lightweight but this stuff is good thanks @eddv123
Also @LukeWillsIT these 2 problem SBCs have static IPs and one of them has a phone with latest firmware but the other one is one ver behind. Both SBCs have static IP.
it is definitely an SBC side issue as I have setup another SBC on a Windows PC to same server etc and it is solid.
I think I need to look at these 2 SBC site internet connection performance also...

Is SBC supported on Windows 8.1 ?

Could be common denominator as it works with win 10 and 7 sites

Please note that the 3CX supported operating systems can be found here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/
In short Windows 8.1 is not a supported OS and neither is Windows 7.
