Scheduling conference with MS365

We are running 3CX V18.0
something doesn't seem to work anymore with the 3CX and MS365 integration for creating conferences.
We go to the app or webclient. select meet - create conference
select video when later type in a subject and then select Microsoft 365
after clicking create meeting the outlook ms365 online app opens at the calendar but the calendar event is not created. so no option to add participants etc to it.

Any idea what might be missing here?

We will be looking into it, but in the meantime, could you try clearing the cache of the browser, or even better, try a browser that you have not used before to log into MS365?

I tried both of that and it did not change the outcome. It is not working.

We confirmed that unfortunately Microsoft has changed the format of the link required to create Events.

Good news though, we have managed to fix this and it will be included with V18 Update 1.

I couldn't say for sure, but we are working on it right now, so it will be a few weeks at least, but not a lot longer than that.

It appears this is also a problem with the latest version 16 as well. Will that be fixed?

Microsoft had it working with "Method A" up until a week ago and for the past year at least. Our implementation was made for "Method A" in V16, and carried over to V18 as it still worked.

Last week, MS decided to change to "Method B".
That means that any version using the implementation for "Method A" will be affected, namely V16 and V18.

As mentioned above, we will be making the necessary adjustments so that V18 Update 1 addresses this issue (implement for "Method B").
We will not be releasing an update for V16 that addresses this, so any users running into this problem on V16, I would suggest upgrading to V18 from now to be a step closer to V18 Update 1, where the issue will be fixed.

Would you happen to know if Microsoft has changed the format of the link required to create Events again? I've noticed that when trying to create meetings using the MS 365 option in the dropdown, it's not working now.

Yes this is currently the case with the latest version 18 update 7, and is fixed in the upcoming update 8, which is currently available in an alpha release for testing purposes, although not recommended for production use the full release of update 8 is not too far way now.
