The scenario is this:

A caller will call and he will hear an AA stating that "Thank you for calling ABC if you know the extension of the person you want to reach please dial it now. or press 1 for sales press to for tech."

I want to ask if we can indicate a # or * in the end of the extension number when the caller will dial the extension number. if the caller didn't press the # or * the call will be drop or will just continue to say the spill. this is a feature of cisco can 3cx do this?

Not with the current version. You can suggest that to 3CX but the need for this feature may not be in a high enough demand for them to add it in the future version.

As far as I know, you can build such kind of a digital receptionist with the Voice Application Designer.
