Like many people these days I work from both the office and home depending on the day of the week.

I generally use the Android app and/or the PWA app when I'm at home.

At work I have a Fanvil phone on my desk as well.

I've noticed that if I get a call and send it to voicemail from the android app, the PWA stops ringing right away but the Fanvil keeps ringing (and the caller keeps hearing ring signal) until it times out and only then sends the call to voicemail.

Is this expected behavior? If not, any ideas where to start looking?

Thanks!

Hi @ScallViz
Thanks for your feedback.

Can you confirm that you are sending it to voicemail using the button highlighted in red in the photo attached?1690536475723.png

If so, then this should work.
Note that declining/rejecting the call from android [even if you have forwarding rules in place to send calls to voicemail], will not terminate the ringing from other ends.

Thanks Thom

When I use the indicated button, it keeps ringing on the desk phone.

I'll do some more testing early next week when I'm back in the office to see what the experience is from the caller's side/etc.

Thanks

If you decline the call on the Android app. In that case, it will keep ringing on the desk phone that is provisioned to the same extension as this is the way that SIP forking works, but if you send the call to Voicemail, as shown in my colleague's screenshot, the call will go to Voicemail of the extension and stop ringing on the IP phone.

I'm like 99% sure I'm hitting send to voicemail. I will reconfirm when I'm back in the office next week and provide more details then.

Thanks
