I have a customer that owns more than one car dealership. Each dealership would have different MOH.

I know currently this is not an option, but could it be looked into? I see this so often requested but it's never really considered. Yes I could create a different 3CX instance for each dealership...but then I have to bridge each one which adds a level of unnecessary complexity.

Their current PBX Service they are unhappy with, but it offers this feature. There are 3 dealerships in total that will be on one system and being able to have a different MOH based on the group the users are part of, or the DID the customer called in on would be amazing.

Thank you.

As this is not possible at the moment only thing I can recommend for now looking through our Ideas Section to upvote any similar requests or post this as a feature request yourself.

In the meantime what you could do is have a Call Queue for each of these dealerships to handle incoming calls. The Call Queues can have their own music on hold. The Global music on-hold could then be set to something generic that would suit all three.

I appreciate the office, unfortunately creating a queue would be counter productive to reaching the AA. However i'll test to see what I can do to get this to work and meet the customer needs.

I did find a similar post, but i'm not able to contribute because "YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT PRIVILEGES TO REPLY HERE." I've come across this frequently in the last few months.
