Setting up a conference - goes to webclient?

I've noticed that when clicking on 'Create Conference' in the conference options in my Windows soft client, it loads a browser tab up with my web client before I can enter the conference details.

This used to be done through the Windows client itself, but something has changed - is this part of a windows client update or has a setting changed?

Yes, several instances, who actively use conferencing. The rest will wait for SP3, which hopefully will fix the issues with conferencing.
