In order to be able to use the 3CX Client remotely (e.g. from a Home Office), the user must change their profile status to "Out Of Office".

Please note that a profile status does not relate to the location of the client. If the client is configured correctly then it should be able to connect from anywhere.

What does the "Regenerate" button do? It does not seem to be described in the guide.

What does the "Regenerate" button do? It does not seem to be described in the guide.

It regenerates passwords for the selected extensions. If you select an extension and press the "Regenerate" button then it will give you a list of things it can regenerate in the extension settings.
