Looking to see what everyone is doing or work arounds for shared call parking when you have a split system half of the users using teams and the other half 3CX phones. We don't have a problem using shared parking on the 3CX side of things, but the office staff is mostly using teams and has no way of picking up the call when the front operator (using a 3cx desk phone ) parks the call in one of the shared parking spaces assigned to them. The call orbit ( *0/*1 ) unfortunately only seems to work for one call / first slot at a time, but this specific installation is running on enterprise / 475+ users / @ 18 different locations so keeping calls in order is say the least a bit more difficult to make sure the right person picks up the call.
I'm not looking for a perfect solution either, prior version 18 we used to create dummy extensions that always forwarded the calls to there respected shared parking spaces, and that worked well, we just gave each location a range of extension numbers (those pointed to there assigned parking spaces) for the plant to use but technically anyone from other locations could grab them or park them there as well, which was fine.
Note: We have found that since (v20 update 3) i believe it is - we can create the extensions to allow forwarding to internal system extensions again and park the calls the way we used to, so a teams user can currently put the call back to the dummy extension (basically forwarding it back to the respected SP* spot) but they just cant pick them back up calling the dummy extension method.
Thanks for any input or possible solutions to try!
