Short Code SMS Sending

Is there a way to send 5 digit short code sms messages from 3CX. I'm trying to send either from the android app or web and I get an error. I believe the error is from the 3CX side and not from the provider because the error happens before I'm able to actually send it.

Yes, this is a validation that 3CX has in place.
The number you enter needs to be a e164 format.

Generally, you do not send messages to a short code but from one (after you registered it and paid for the service). Overall shortcode is on the way of been replaced (unless it is an very app) by 10DLC

Will the e164 format restriction be changed any time soon? -being able to register/reply to Short Codes is valuable. For example e164 format and Short Codes (5-6 digits e.g. "+100001") should be allowed IMO.
