Hello,
we are facing a problem with the scheduled conference invites via email.
Problem: A lot of users cannot open/ see the .ics attachment (Just because lots of webmailers and mobile apps are not supporting this).
Thats a big deal cause they dont know when the conference is about to start.
The easy solution would be to edit the mail template and insert the time there with a variable. Thats the idea...
We tried to use the %%STARTTIME%% variable from the fax section, but this is just in UTC time zone format.
We are located in germany and our timezone is utc+1. This timezone is set in the 3CX system as local time.
You could add "UTC+1" behind the variable, but users wont recognize it.
Is there any way to get the local time into the mail template?
For example:
Is there a different variable with the set local time?
Is there any way to read out the time from the ics file and output it to the mail template?
Thank you for your ideas.
Best regards
sifre
