Showing a Video in a 3CX Webinar

Is it at all possible to show a pre-recorded video in 3CX WebMeeting as part of a Webinar?

I couldn't see any obvious options, but wondered if anyone had experience of using 3rd party software to redirect the webcam and audio feed for the presenter?

Hi Tom, we made some test experience for playing youtube (online) or mp4 movies (prerecorded) during a webmeeting.
The problem was that the video is played to all attendees, but the audio can be heard only on the presenter computer.
Not all computers do have an audio hardware that allow to intercept an audio stream and to redirect it as source for another program running on the same computer (in that case, you could get the audio redirected to webmeeting input simply selecting the appropriate source).
So we tried third party software mixers (easy to find googling around), with varying results.
1. they consume a lot of cpu; if your pc is not strong enough, you'll get choppy video and stuttering audio
2. their configuration it is not so easy to manage for an average user
3. difficult to mix up different sound sources, as mic and playback, with appropriate levels
4. attendee's audio returns back to them, if any noise came in.
Too many drawbacks.
Our decision was not to disclose this to our customers.

Just as grassi mentioned,

Virtual Cam / Audio Mix software:
It's quite easy to do but with an external 3'rd part software like ManyCam. You'll need a pretty good computer (Desktop Tower PC with good hardware) or a very powerful laptop. You'll definitely need a bit more knowledge than the average PC user to use this correctly.

Regarding points #3 and #4, these can be resolved and managed correctly if you use the correct software.

Screen Share + Audio:
This is something we hope to eventually have. Not on our roadmap currently, as it's not an immediate priority. If you feel this is an important feature to have, i suggest opening a thread or searching for an existing one in the 'Ideas' part of the 3CX forum. The more upvotes you get, the more traction the idea gets.
